Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the founder of BNP, laid the philosophical cornerstone of this movement by emphasizing discipline, patriotism, and self-reliance among the younger generations. Carrying this legacy forward, Begum Khaleda Zia, the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a tireless advocate for education and youth development, expanded the organization’s reach during her tenures. Under her leadership, nationwide literacy campaigns, child health initiatives, and scholarship programs flourished. Her government’s introduction of free education for girls up to the secondary level remains a landmark achievement that directly benefited millions of young Bangladeshis and empowered them to break cycles of poverty.
